Guidelines for Mentors
After creating the Educational materials for mentors (see IO1) and the Escape Room with immersive games (see IO2), the partnership developed pedagogical and didactical methodologies and guidelines to assist the educators who work with special needs students in order to use those materials and innovative methodologies (such as gamification) to motivate.
In order to create this Output we:
– identified and distinguished the major difficulties affecting people with Intelectual and Developmental Disabilities;
– understood special needs in education and training (with focus on IDDs);
– identified the needs of students;
– developed pedagogical guidelines and strategies on how to use the educational contents.
